RankNow

The rules

Short, because the mechanism is. Entries sort by what they paid. Everything below follows from that.

Bidding

  • Whole US dollars. $5 minimum, $999,999 maximum, $1 at a time.
  • Taking the top spot costs at least $5 more than the current top bid.
  • Raising your own listing costs at least $1 above its current bid. Enter the same URL or @handle and up your bid.
  • Paying less than the #1 price still puts you on the board, at whatever place that bid can take.
  • Equal bids stay in the order they were placed — the older bid keeps the higher rank.

Payment

  • A completed payment is what claims the rank. Until it completes, nothing is on the board.
  • If someone outbids you while you are paying, your bid still lands — just lower down.
  • If your bid cannot land at all, your card is released, not charged.
  • Being outbid is not refunded. The person above you did not pay you; they paid the board.

Your listing

  • Your listing is public. Clicks go to the URL or profile you submitted, without your query parameters — with a utm_source=ranknow tag added, so the traffic shows up as RankNow in your own analytics.
  • One counted click per visitor per hour. The count is there to be trusted, so it is hard to inflate.
  • Link shortener URLs are not allowed. Submit the destination.
  • Chat and invite links are not allowed.
  • If it is porn, NSFW, or an adult platform, it does not belong on the board.
  • Listings that break these rules are removed. Removed listings cannot be bought back.
